The administration’s 2010 machinery has consolidated, at least officially. Last Thursday, with the President herself in attendance, the two most dominant political parties in the Philippines LAKAS-Christian Muslim Democrats (LAKAS-CMD) and Kabalikat ng Mamamayang Pilipino (KAMPI) has now merged into one strong party; the LAKAS-KAMPI-CMD. With this in place, the administration’s dream victory in the 2010 elections is soon to be a reality.
A National Success
With the two dominant administration parties merged, officially, the administration’s chances of bagging the 2010 polls has raised. With the fully functional, and extensive political machinery, whoever wins the party nomination will be at ease as the local components of the party do the organizing on their behalf.
I just can’t wait for 2010.
